Proyect Details
The remodeling of the House of Hilde tries to understand the need to return to the essential being of the inhabitant. We try in this project to modernize the space based on the needs of the family. The children and away from the house left a space full of symbols and memories in which the owner wanted to take over the space and create a new space youth. She wanted to be able to receive her children in a modern space and transformed to what she had always dreamed of, a very functional space, very clean and orderly, an almost therapeutic change to re-find herself, develop her daily activities and receive friendships in a universe own. The design in this sense is very epurated with simple lines, light and shadows that give warmth to very monochromatic spaces. The kitchen has been the main focus of attention in which it was proposed to develop a central island to create a link with both the dining room and the living room with the new corridor connecting the view to the internal patio developed as a covered garden. The spaces of transition take a very vivid color since only transited give much warmth and reinforce the fluidity of the connections between spaces.
  1. Simplicity come with strong functionalism.
  2. Light give to space warmness and rhythm.
  3. Defining the parameters of well being is the foundation of a success design.
  4. “Less is More” Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
